Maurice Young has more than 45 years’ experience in temperature-controlled storage, distribution, and associated refrigeration systems.
Following a long career within the cold chain and refrigeration industry, Maurice established Maurice Young Consulting in 2000, providing independent specialist consultancy services focused on refrigeration safety management, regulatory compliance, and process safety.

Maurice Young is a Life Member of the Cold Chain Federation, having previously served as a Director and as a member of its Technical Committee.
In addition to consultancy work, Maurice is a frequent speaker at industry events and the author of technical papers covering refrigeration safety, risk management, and industry best practice.
Over the years he has worked with numerous major and blue-chip organisations, advising on:
